Sous-Chef Tiffany Wahl

Tiffany was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Along with English she speaks French and Tagalog (Filipino). She graduated from Dawson College in 2004 with a Social Science Degree but always had a passion for food. Immediately upon graduation she enrolled in culinary school at St. Pius X Culinary Institute of Montreal and graduated with a culinary degree in 2005.

In 2006, she followed her heart to Austin and started working at an established sushi restaurant. By the end of 2007, she had advanced to become a sushi chef and at 23, she was the youngest of only a handful of female sushi chefs in Austin. Before the year was through, her ambitions led her to join the team at the Hilton Garden Inn as sous-chef.

Along with celebrating her one-year anniversary at HGI in November 2008, Tiffany married her long time boy-friend, Bill. In their spare time, the couple enjoys traveling around central Texas searching for local culinary treasures.
